These reports support the place analysis in the consultation on the Airport Commission鈥檚 shortlisted options for additional airport capacity.

A 鈥楤aseline鈥� report assesses how the:

  • land take
  • landscape and townscape
  • heritage
  • waste

impacts in areas surrounding Heathrow and Gatwick will develop in the absence of a scheme, over a 60 year period.

A further 鈥楢ssessment鈥� report looks at the:

  • land take
  • landscape and townscape
  • heritage
  • waste

impacts of each capacity expansion option over a 60 year operational period.
