This direction was revoked on 10 February 2025 following the report of the children鈥檚 services improvement adviser
This updated direction issued in August 2021 requires Stoke-on-Trent City Council to:
- co-operate with the newly appointed Children鈥檚 Services Commissioner 鈥� Paul Moffat
- continue to accept support from Leeds City Council as formal improvement partner
- engage in Department for Education reviews on a 6-monthly basis
This revised direction replaces the earlier statutory direction issued to Stoke-on-Trent Council on 13 March 2020.
