UK Joint Delegation to NATO
The United Kingdom鈥檚 Joint Delegation to NATO (UKDel NATO) is the link between the UK government and the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation.
UKDel NATO鈥檚 main roles are to promote British interests in NATO and to keep UK government departments informed about NATO discussions.
The Delegation works to ensure the UK plays a full and influential role in the North Atlantic Council, the Military Committee and across the spectrum of NATO activities.
As a Joint Delegation the Diplomatic Mission is headed by an Ambassador to NATO, and a UK Military Representative to NATO, Lieutenant General Ian Cave CB.
