Update your UKVI account details
To sign in and update your UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) account, you鈥檒l need:
- your identity document, for example your passport, national identity card or expired biometric residence card or permit
- access to your phone or email address - you鈥檒l get a security code to confirm your identity
Use the identity document and contact details you gave when you applied, unless you have already used this service to update them.
If you鈥檙e updating your name, date of birth or nationality, you鈥檒l also need an identity document that proves the change is needed.

You cannot use this service to update a UKVI account if you鈥檙e registered in the account as a 鈥榟elper鈥�. Only the person who applied can make changes.

After you鈥檝e updated your UKVI account
This service will only update your UKVI account details. You cannot update any immigration details, for example change a visa or citizenship application.
You can report an error with your eVisa if any of your immigration details are incorrect.
