Before you start

This calculator is only for the current tax year.

You鈥檒l need:

  • the period of pay, which could be:
    • weekly
    • every 2 weeks
    • every 4 weeks
    • monthly
  • the date you were paid, if you鈥檙e an employee
  • the date you paid your employee, if you鈥檙e an employer
  • the amount paid before any deductions
  • the employee鈥檚 National Insurance category letter 鈥� this can be found on the employee鈥檚 payslip
