On 26 July 2016, STA, gave Ofqual an undertaking which sets out the steps it will take to secure compliance with our 鈥楪eneral Conditions of Recognition鈥�, specifically:

  • E5.1 鈥� Assurance that qualifications comply with the Conditions

STA has undertaken to carry out an audit of its regulated qualifications to ensure that they all comply with its conditions of recognition. It will devise and implement a system for qualification development and review, and for its new qualifications to be formally signed off before being submitted to the register of regulated qualifications.

In line with general condition B8, STA must now take all the steps identified in the undertaking. We may take further action if it doesn鈥檛 follow through on its commitments.
