Details
This report sets out the recommendations on delivery arrangements for children鈥檚 social care in the event of local authority reorganisation.
It recommends an alternative delivery model separate from the local authorities if they split into two local authorities.
It follows a MHCLG consultation on local authority reorganisation held in November 2018 and an that concluded that services had significantly deteriorated since inspection in 2016.
DfE issued a statutory direction to Northamptonshire county council on 30 November 2018.
