Details

Consumers should be able to make informed choices about purchases of animal products according to welfare provenance. To achieve this requires education along with reliable information provided at the point of sale and elsewhere.

Farmers and others in the food supply chain also need systems through which they can learn about how to achieve high standards of farm animal welfare.
