FAWC鈥檚 advice responded to a government request for views on proposals made in the European Food Safety Authority鈥檚 (EFSA) for the use of allometric principles for calculating space allowances for animals during transport. FAWC鈥檚 advice also included observations on headroom for animals during transport and on other related welfare issues.
