This consultation is part of the Social Security Advisory Committee鈥檚 (SSAC) consideration of The Social Security (Waiting Days) Amendment Regulations 2014.

SSAC wants to hear views on the proposed changes resulting from the government鈥檚 intention to extend the number of days a claimant must wait before they are entitled to receive certain benefits from 3 to 7.
