Carbon capture and storage (CCS): knowledge sharing
Knowledge collected from UK carbon capture, usage and storage (CCUS) projects.
The international CCUS community shares key results and lessons learned (key knowledge deliverables (KKDs)) on large-scale CCUS projects, to:
- help accelerate CCUS cost reduction
- benefit academia and the CCUS industry
- raise the public profile of CCUS
The UK first contributed to this international collaboration by publishing in 2012 and 2015 the KKDs from the front-end engineering design (FEED) studies conducted on the Kingsnorth, Longannet, Peterhead and White Rose CCUS projects.
Over the course of 2022 we will publish the CCUS Innovation 1.0 KKDs聽for 7聽historic CCUS聽innovation projects:

Peterhead and White Rose Key Knowledge Deliverables
Under the 2013 to 2014 front-end engineering and design (FEED) contracts, the Peterhead and White Rose CCS projects delivered 86 KKD reports which cover various aspects of a large scale commercial CCS project.
