Get an emergency travel document

You can apply for an emergency travel document (ETD) if you鈥檙e abroad and your passport has been lost or stolen, damaged or expired, and you can鈥檛 get a new or replacement passport in time to travel.

If your passport has been stolen you will need a police report before an ETD can be issued. You can . Please print a copy of the report and bring it to your appointment at the embassy.
