RAF Benevolent Fund

The RAF Benevolent Fund provides lifelong support to serving and ex-serving RAF personnel and their families.

About the RAF Benevolent Fund

The RAF Benevolent Fund supports current serving and former members of the RAF and their families, through practical, emotional and 铿乶ancial help.

They provide a range of services for the RAF family, from relationship counselling to 铿乶ancial grants.

Most of their services can be used by both serving and former personnel and their partners and children. This includes one-o铿 grants to help with unexpected expenses like a broken boiler or home adaptation, respite care and bereavement support.

Some services can only be accessed by current serving personnel and their families. These include breaks for serving families and their online mindfulness programme.

For former personnel and their partners, their telephone friendship groups provide a safe space to chat to others in the comfort of their own home.

Each case for 铿乶ancial assistance is considered individually and depends on a person鈥檚 铿乶ancial circumstances. A full, comprehensive assessment will be carried out, considering a person鈥檚 needs and whether there are other ways to support.
