100 UK Defence medical specialists are supporting Turkey in the wake of the earthquake.

A plane carrying 77 UK search and rescue specialists, equipment and 4 search dogs, has arrived in Gaziantep, Turkey, to support the earthquake response.
The UK is committing a further package of support to address urgent humanitarian needs in Turkey and Syria.
The UK will immediately deploy emergency response teams to Turkey to assist rescue efforts.
The UK will provide vital items such as tents and blankets to help survivors cope with the freezing conditions, as part of its immediate response to the crisis.
This will make it easier for aid agencies to operate and facilitate earthquake relief efforts in Syria, without breaching sanctions that target Assad’s regime.
Given the difficulties in accessing earthquake-affected areas in north-west Syria the UK will provide additional funding for major search and rescue operations.
Support will include a field hospital and C130 Hercules critical care air support team.
