Abstract

This paper provides a succinct analysis of South Sudan as a political marketplace, focusing on the last 15 years, from the signing of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) in January 2005 up until late 2019. The paper seeks to provide a framework that allows South Sudanese actors鈥攅specially those concerned with promoting peace, democracy and justice鈥攖o analyze their country鈥檚 predicament so as to understand the implications of different courses of action, or the likely outcome of allowing events to run their course
