Abstract

This is the protocol for a systematic review which will contribute to the growing evidence base on the effectiveness of post-abortion care .

The review will consider:
(i) Those aspects of post-abortion care programmes that are concerned in any way with family planning services. A very broad approach will be adopted;
(ii) Training related to any aspect of post-abortion care.

The protocol provides background information and details of the methods to be used.
