Nairobi: city report
Analyses Nairobi鈥檚 politics of development, key challenges, and opportunities for equitable change.
Abstract
The authors conducted 4 domain studies focused on housing (safety and security, health, wellbeing and nutrition, and structural transformation) in Nairobi, Kenya. The authors findings indicate that poorly integrated, low-quality systems have major negative knock-on effects for housing which especially burden Nairobi鈥檚 low-income residents. They identify several opportunities for holistic, joined-up interventions to foster inclusive urbanisation pathways in Nairobi.
