Abstract

Collecting data from six Sub-Saharan African countries, this study explores the question of whether the impacts of rapid increase in the number of teachers associated with the Free聽Primary聽Education (FPE)聽reform can be felt now, years after the reform, in classrooms in terms of lower student learning outcomes and worse teacher 鈥渜uality.鈥�
