Abstract

This presentation describes the work of LEAP in evaluating, validating and registering improved treatment options for visceral leishmaniasis in the East African region, including summary results from a study of sodium stibogluconate, paromomycin and their combination, and plans for studies of amphotericin B and miltefosine.
