Abstract

Under the 鈥楽paces for Engagement: using knowledge to improve public decisions鈥� programme, GDNet and CIPPEC have produced different types of resources addressing the link between research and policy, and aiming at building southern researcher's capacity to maximize their research uptake. The toolkit 鈥楬ow to design a policy influence plan鈥� addresses various components of a public policy influence plan: what an influence plan is and why it is important; the policy making context; influence objectives, actors and alliances; strategies and communication; resources and timeline, among others.
