Abstract

Under the 鈥楽paces for Engagement: using knowledge to improve public decisions鈥� programme, GDNet and CIPPEC have produced different types of resources addressing the link between research and policy, and aiming at building southern researchers鈥� capacity to maximize their research uptake. The toolkit 鈥楬ow can we monitor and evaluate policy influence?鈥� addresses the various steps of the monitoring and evaluation process of policy influence: the organizational assessment; basis for an M&E strategy; defining indicators to measure results; data collection methods and knowledge management, among others.
