This paper aims to analyse the dominant themes in health reporting in 'The Kathmandu Post'

Abstract

The media are important actors in public health, yet there have been very few studies to date about what newspapers cover in Nepal and what health issues are reported.

This learning paper aims to analyse the dominant themes in health reporting in 鈥楾he Kathmandu Post鈥 and identify the gaps that exist in making clear connections between health and broader social determinants of health.

This research is part of the COMDIS-HSD Programme which is led by the University of Leeds
