Gu铆a metodol贸gica para la elaboraci贸n de un plan de incidencia pol铆tica [Methodological guide for the development of an advocacy plan]

Abstract

Fighting rural poverty and inequality requires a closer relationship between agricultural research and interagency commitments necessary to balance the demands of small farmers with technological innovation and the establishment of effective policies to ensure the reduction of persistent technology gap in the field.

In order to institutionalize participatory methodologies, the Andean Change Programme proposes a methodological framework, which seeks to provide conceptual and methodological elements to develop Advocacy Plans based primarily on evidence collected from the participatory research processes.

This methodological framework was designed particularly for institutions, foundations, and other professionals dedicated to rural development issues and involved in participatory research processes that require the formulation of Advocacy Plans to promote political dialogue between stakeholders and policy makers.
