Abstract

This Research in Context brief summarises and sets in context findings from the research project 鈥楩inancial volatility, macroprudential regulation and economic growth in low-income countries鈥�.The project was funded by the Department for International Development - Economic and Social Research Council 鈥楪rowth Research Programme鈥� (DEGRP).

The project was led by Professor Pierre-Richard Ag茅nor of University of Manchester with researchers from Manchester, Fondation pour les 脡tudes et R茅cherches sur le D茅veloppement International, Universit茅 d鈥橝uvergne, International Monetary Fund, and the African Development Bank.
