Feeder Roads Project Zamb茅zia: Follow-up assessment
Abstract
The British government鈥檚 support to rural development in Mozambique included funding feeder road rehabilitation to help improve the living conditions of rural communities with better access to markets and services. The Zamb茅zia Feeder Roads Project rehabilitated over 900 km of rural feeder roads in Zamb茅zia Province from 1996 to December 2001, using labour-based methods. The present Follow-up Study of the Social and Economic Impact of the Feeder Roads Project in Zamb茅zia Province was designed to assess the outcomes and consequences of the Project on communities and people living in the vicinity of rehabilitated roads, ten years after the Project鈥檚 final socio-economic impact study.
