Abstract

This report provides a view on 2 China鈥揢K Sustainable Agriculture Innovation Network (SAIN) proposals. It looks at where the proposals fit within the current discussions on innovative energy technology that may benefit developing countries and the potential costs/benefits including low carbon benefits. The proposals are:

  1. Integrating biogas into circular agriculture: tools, analysis and policy implications; and

  2. Life cycle assessment of biochar production systems based on pyrolysis and gasification technologies.

This resource was produced by TI-UP 鈥 a DFID-funded resource centre for technology, infrastructure and urban planning, managed by IMC Worldwide Ltd.
