Adolescents in Jordan: health, nutrition and WASH

This brief is part of the Gender and Adolescence: Global Evidence (GAGE) programme

Abstract

During adolescence 鈥 a time of rapid physical growth and change 鈥 young people need access to relevant health, nutrition, hygiene and sanitation related information, services and supplies. GAGE research found that much more could be done to improve adolescents鈥 physical health and help them develop the habits and patterns that will support good health over the life course.
