Summary

Wines Designation of Origin means the geographical name of a wine-growing zone characterised by specific productions and it is used to describe a renowned quality product, whose characteristics are due to the geographical environment and the human factor鈥�. The aforementioned law states, for the Italian denominations, the specific traditional term 鈥淒.O.C.鈥� in order to make clear the above concept of highly qualitative and traditional designation of origin.
