Product: Morco Gas Water Heaters: Primo (MP) / EUP
Hazard: The product presents a serious risk of fire as there is a risk of gas leaking which, if ignited, may set fire to flammable components on the front of the gas water heater.
Corrective action: The product has been recalled from end users. This supercedes a modification programme previously in place. Products which have previously been modified as part of this programme are also in scope of the recall.

Hazard
A safety issue has been identified with Morco Open-Flued Gas Water Heaters which may be installed in mobile homes, caravans and domestic settings.
The product presents a risk of fire, explosion and injuries. There is a risk of gas leaking which, if ignited, may cause burns, explosions and injuries.
The products are not in conformity with the requirements of Regulation 2016/426.
Corrective action
Morco have initiated a recall for affected appliances.
Owners of gas water heaters installed (including those which have previously received a safety upgrade) should contact Morco immediately to discuss next steps. Owners should not attempt to check or test the appliance themselves.
