Possession Claim Online: recover property

You can take court action to repossess a property if you鈥檙e owed money for rent or a mortgage, and the tenant or mortgage holder will not pay.

You can only use this service if:

  • you鈥檙e over 18
  • you own a property in England
  • you鈥檙e owed money in rent or mortgage payments for a residential property

You cannot use this service if you鈥檙e applying for help with fees - you must apply by post instead.

Before you start

If your property is in Wales

You will need to and send them to your local county court.
