The Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) is running an accountable grant competition to find a non-profit organisation (or organisations) to deliver its new Knowledge for Development and Diplomacy (K4D2) programme. Organisations should have the capacity and expertise to establish and manage a service which will deliver rapid-evidence support to development and diplomacy decision-makers.
The deadline to submit proposals is 10am on 23 June 2023.
The FCDO is looking for a non-profit organisation (or a consortium led by a non-profit organisation), including academic institutions or thinktanks, with the capacity and expertise to:
- establish and manage a helpdesk service which will receive and manage requests for rapid-turnaround written evidence summaries
- service requests for in-person or online learning events, bringing together internal and external experts
- establish and maintain a flexible pool of researchers, with expertise across the range of FCDO’s development and diplomacy priorities, and the ability to respond rapidly to requests
- effectively manage financial and administrative elements of programme delivery, including performance monitoring and reporting
