TCM1000657 - How to access the General Registrars Office (GRO)

Note: You must have access to GRO computer systems

Note: GRO only holds records for children born after 18-11-2009

Access GRO from your computer desktop. To do this;

  • select 鈥楽tart鈥�
  • select 鈥楳y Services鈥�
  • select 鈥楥orporate Services鈥�
  • select 鈥楪RO鈥�
  • go to Step 2

Step 2

  • enter your email address in the 鈥榚mail address鈥� field
  • enter your password in the 鈥楶lease Sign On鈥� field
  • select 鈥楨nter鈥�.
  • go to Step 3.

Step 3

In the relevant boxes

  • enter the child鈥檚 surname,
  • enter the child鈥檚 forename(s),
  • enter the child鈥檚 date of birth
  • select 鈥楽earch鈥�
  • the child鈥檚 information or a nil result message will display
