TCM1000607 - How to record the issue date of a TC603 on a Stopping Tax Credit Claim

On the 鈥楩unction Menu鈥�

select 鈥業Y Finalisation鈥� on the toolbar
select 鈥楳aintain In Year Finalisation鈥� from the options available. You will be taken to the 鈥楰ey Entry Data - Applicant鈥� screen
enter the customer鈥檚 NINO
select 鈥極K鈥�

If you are taken to the 鈥楽elect Household鈥� screen

If you are taken to the 鈥楽elect Tax Credit Period鈥� screen

If you are taken straight to the 鈥楳aintain In Year Finalisation鈥� screen, go to Step 2.

On the 鈥楳aintain In Year Finalisation鈥� screen

If the original Award Declaration was a Reply Required

If the original Award Declaration was an Auto, go to Step 4.

As the original Award Declaration was an 鈥楢uto鈥� we need to change this to make it a 鈥楻eply Required鈥�

in the 鈥業Y S17 Notice鈥� field, select the 鈥楴ot Served Applicant 1鈥� checkbox and/or 鈥楴ot Served Applicant 2鈥� checkbox. Mark the original declaration as 鈥楴ot Served鈥�. If declarations were issued out to both applicants you will need to mark both applicants as 鈥楴ot Served鈥�
use the reason in the drop down menu as 鈥業YS17 Not Received鈥�
enter the date of issue in the 鈥楳anual IYS17 notice鈥� box at the bottom of the screen
enter a tick in Applicant 1 in a single claim or in both Applicant 1 and Applicant 2 in a joint claim
select 鈥極K鈥�. Check that the IYSD has changed to 30 days from today鈥檚 date. If the date has not changed then calculate 30 days from today鈥檚 date and enter this in the IYSD field.
