TCM1000578 - How to check, establish the reason for, set or remove the Finalisation Inhibited signal
Step 1
On the 鈥楩unction Menu鈥�
- select 鈥業n Year Finalisation鈥� on the toolbar
- select 鈥楳aintain IY Finalisation鈥� from the options available. You will be taken to the 鈥楰ey Entry Data screen
- enter the customer鈥檚 NINO
- select 鈥極K鈥�.
If you are taken to the 鈥楽elect individual鈥� screen
- select the relevant individual that you need to work
- select 鈥極K鈥�. You will be taken to 鈥楬ousehold Details鈥� screen go to Step 2.
If you are taken to the 鈥楽elect household鈥� screen
- select the relevant household that you need to work
- select 鈥極K鈥�. You will be taken to 鈥楬ousehold Details鈥� screen go to Step 2.
If you are taken straight to the 鈥楬ousehold Details鈥� screen, go to Step 2.
Step 2
On the 鈥楬ousehold Details鈥� screen
- select 鈥楥ontinue鈥� until you reach the 鈥楩inalisation Details鈥� screen
- go to Step 3.
Note: you may also navigate to the correct screen by making their selection from the drop down box in 鈥楴avigation Menu鈥�
Step 3
On the 鈥楩inalisation Details鈥� screen
If you need to set the 鈥楩inalisation Inhibited鈥� signal then:
- Check whether the 鈥楩inalisation Inhibited鈥� signal has been set, the 鈥楩inalisation Inhibited鈥� checkbox will be selected in the 鈥業nhibit Finalisation鈥� box if the signal has been set.
If you need to establish the reason why the 鈥楩inalisation Inhibited鈥� signal has been set, check the 鈥楻eason鈥� field in the 鈥業nhibit Finalisation鈥� box. This will tell you the reason why the signal has been set.
If you need to set the 鈥楩inalisation Inhibited鈥� signal then, go to Step 4.
If you need to remove the 鈥楩inalisation Inhibited鈥� signal, go to Step 5.
Step 4
On the 鈥楩inalisation Details鈥� screen
- select the 鈥楩inalisation Inhibited鈥� checkbox in the 鈥業nhibit Finalisation鈥� box
- select the relevant option from the 鈥楢ctioned by鈥� field
- select the relevant option from the 鈥楻eason鈥� field
- enter date - pending BPPT testing
- select 鈥極K鈥�. The 鈥楩inalisation Inhibited鈥� signal will be set.
Step 5
On the 鈥楩inalisation Details鈥� screen
- select the 鈥楩inalisation Inhibited鈥� checkbox in the 鈥業nhibit Finalisation鈥� box to remove the tick
- select the relevant option from the 鈥楢ctioned by鈥� field
- select 鈥極K鈥�. The 鈥楩inalisation Inhibited鈥� signal will be removed.
