TCM1000575 - How to mark the Award Declaration as not served

Step 1

On the ‘Function Menu�

  • select ‘In Year Finalisationâ€� on the toolbar
  • select ‘Maintain IY Finalisationâ€� from the options available. You will be taken to the ‘Key Entry Data screen
  • enter the customer’s NINO
  • select ‘OKâ€�.

If you are taken to the ‘Select individual� screen

  • select the relevant individual that you need to work
  • select ‘OKâ€�. You will be taken to ‘Household Detailsâ€� screenâ€� go to Step 2.

If you are taken to the ‘Select household� screen

  • select the relevant household that you need to work
  • select ‘OKâ€�. You will be taken to ‘Household Detailsâ€� screenâ€� go to Step 2.

If you are taken straight to the ‘Household Details� Screen, go to Step 2.

Step 2

On the ‘Household Details� screen

  • select ‘Continueâ€�. You will be taken to the ‘Notice detailsâ€� screen
  • select either ‘Yesâ€� or ‘Noâ€� to any warning messages that you may see depending on what action you need to take.
  • select a ‘Reasonâ€� from the drop down list, when setting the ‘Not Servedâ€� indicator.
  • select ‘OKâ€� . You will be returned to the ‘Notice Detailsâ€� screen

Note: If an appointee is marked as Not Served the In Year S17 Notice will be issued to the claimant(s)

Note: once a Notice has been marked as Not Served and a subsequent In Year S17 Notice issued, any future changes will be made against the latest version of the In Year S17 Notice for that household.
