TCM1000574 - How to check if an In Year Declaration has already been marked as not served

Step 1

On the ‘Function Menu�

  • select ‘In Year Finalisationâ€� on the toolbar
  • select ‘Maintain IY Finalisationâ€� from the options available. You will be taken to the ‘Key Entry Data screen
  • enter the customer’s NINO
  • select ‘OKâ€�. You will be taken to ‘Household Detailsâ€� screenâ€�
  • go to Step 2.

If you are taken to the ‘Select individual� screen

  • select the relevant individual that you need to work
  • select ‘OKâ€� You will be taken to ‘Household Detailsâ€� screenâ€�
  • go to Step 2.

If you are taken to the ‘Select household� screen

  • select the relevant household that you need to work
  • select ‘OKâ€� You will be taken to ‘Household Detailsâ€� screen
  • go to Step 2.

Step 2

On the ‘Household Details� screen

  • select ‘Continueâ€� You will be taken to the ‘Notice detailsâ€� screen
  • in the ‘In Year S17 Noticeâ€� field, if the Declaration has been ‘marked as not servedâ€� there will be ticks in the ‘not servedâ€� checkboxes

Note: In a joint claim both checkboxes will have been selected
