TCM1000562 - How to record a Tribunal decision 'Appeal Upheld' in function Maintain Appeal

On the ‘Function Menu�

  • select ‘Applicationâ€� on the toolbar
  • select ‘Maintain Appealâ€� from the options available. You will be taken to the ‘Key Entry Dataâ€� screen
  • enter the customer’s NINO
  • select ‘OKâ€�.

If you are taken to the ‘Select Application� screen

  • select the appropriate claim version the customer has appealed against by highlighting the entry and selecting ‘OKâ€�. You will be taken to the ‘Select Awardâ€� screen
  • select the award version the customer has appealed against by highlighting the appropriate entry and selecting ‘OKâ€�. You will be taken to the ‘Maintain Appealâ€� screen. It will appear with an ‘Oâ€� for Open or a ‘Câ€� for Closed. You will be taken to the ‘Maintain Appealâ€� screen
  • select the status ‘Closedâ€� from the ‘Appeal Statusâ€� drop down menu
  • select the status ‘Appeal Upheldâ€� from the ‘Appeal Resultâ€� drop down menu.

If you are not taken to the ‘Select Application� screen

  • select the award version the customer has appealed against by highlighting the appropriate entry and selecting ‘OKâ€�. You will be taken to the ‘Maintain Appealâ€� screen. It will appear with an ‘Oâ€� for Open or a ‘Câ€� for Closed. You will be taken to the ‘Maintain Appealâ€� screen
  • select the status ‘Closedâ€� from the ‘Appeal Statusâ€� drop down menu
  • select the status ‘Appeal Upheldâ€� from the ‘Appeal Resultâ€� drop down menu.
