TCM1000500 - How to check if a claim is ceased due to Universal Credit (UC)

Step 1

On the ‘Function Menu�

  • select ‘Applicationâ€� on the tool bar
  • select ‘Viewâ€� from the options available. You will be taken to the ‘Key Entry dataâ€�-Applicantâ€� screen
  • enter the customer’s NINO
  • select the ‘allâ€� check box
  • select OK

If you are taken to the ‘Select Application Version� screen

  • select the relevant application
  • select ‘OKâ€�. You will be taken to the ‘Application Summaryâ€� screen
  • go to Step 2Ìý

If you are taken straight to the ‘Application Summary� screen, go to Step 2.

Step 2

If you receive a ‘pop up� box with ‘Universal Credit� and a date

  • the claim has ceased because the customer has claimed Universal Credit (UC)

If you do not receive a ‘pop up� box with ‘Universal Credit� and a date

  • the claim has not ceased due to Universal Credit being claimed
