Step 1
Note: You must take note of any household end date that previously applied before termination. This can be found in Household Notes.
On the ‘Function Menu�
- select ‘Renewal� on the toolbar
- select ‘Manage Finalisation� from the options available. You’ll be taken to the ‘Key Entry Data� screen
- enter the customer’s NINO
- select the ‘All� checkbox
- select ‘OK�.
If you’re taken to the ‘Select Award� screen
- select the award you want to restore
Note: In order to restore CY, select the PY award. - select ‘OK�. You will be taken to the ‘Manage Finalisation� screen
- go to Step 2.
If you’re taken straight to the ‘Manage Finalisation� screen, go to Step 2.
Step 2
On the ‘Manage Finalisation� screen
- select ‘Process�. You’ll be taken to the ‘Process� screen
- select ‘Restore CY�. The ‘Restore CY� screen will display
- select the relevant option to reflect the area in which you work from the ‘Action By� field. For example ‘TCO�
- select ‘As agreed� from the ‘Reason� field
Note: where the household has ended, you must enter the household breakdown date in the ’Household End Date� field unless a ‘UC start date -1 day� date has already been pre-populated, before restoring the claim.
Note: the warning message “Amended Household End Date must be before UC start date� will be displayed if a household end date is entered that is later than the ’UC start date -1 day� that has been pre-populated - select ‘Restore CY�. You’ve restored the claim.
