TCM1000456 - How to find and access a claim on the Potential Match MU

Changes to previous version - new guidance.

Step 1

On the ‘Function Menu�

  • select ‘Worklistâ€� on the toolbar
  • select ‘Maintainâ€� from the options available. You will be taken to the ‘Maintain Worklistâ€� screen
  • select ‘Potential Matchâ€� from the ‘Worklist Typeâ€� field

Note: This should be the only option available.

  • select the Potential Match MU from the ‘Management Unitâ€� field
  • go to Step 2.

Step 2

If the message ‘No Worklist Entries for the selected Management Unit� displays, return to the guidance you were previously following at the point you left it.

If you have a reference number

  • select ‘Sort Filterâ€�. You will be taken to the ‘Sort and Filter Worklist Entriesâ€� screen
  • select ‘Referenceâ€� in the ‘Sortâ€� field
  • select ‘Referenceâ€� in the ‘Filter 1â€� field
  • enter the customer’s NINO in the ‘From Valueâ€� and ‘To Valueâ€� fields
  • select ‘OKâ€�
  • go to Step 4.

If you don’t have a reference number

  • select ‘Sort Filterâ€�. You will be taken to the ‘Sort and Filter Worklist Entriesâ€� screen
  • select ‘Nameâ€� in the ‘Sortâ€� field
  • select ‘Nameâ€� in the ‘Filter 1â€� field
  • enter the customer’s name in the ‘From Valueâ€� and ‘To Valueâ€� fields
  • select ‘OKâ€�
  • go to Step 3.

Step 3

If the work list item displays

  • select the work list item
  • select ‘Fileâ€� on the toolbar
  • select ‘Next Functionâ€� from the options available. You will be taken to the ‘Work Management - Select Functionâ€� screen
  • select ‘Capture Applicationâ€�
  • select ‘OKâ€�
  • go to Step 4.

If the work list item didn’t display, return to the guidance you were previously following at the point you left it.

Step 4

If you are taken to the ‘Applicant 1� screen

  • a screen will display showing if both customers or which customer is a ‘Potential Matchâ€�
  • make a note of the customer who is a potential match
  • select ‘OKâ€�.

If the message ‘This Application can not be Opened in Capture� displays

Note: The message usually indicates the claim has been rejected with an outstanding potential match.

  • select ‘OKâ€�. You will be taken to the ‘Maintain Worklistâ€� screen
  • select ‘Cancelâ€�. You will be taken back to the ‘Function Menuâ€�
  • the claim can’t be accessed on the Potential Match MU.
