TCM1000454 - How to check benefit history details

Changes to previous version - new guidance.
Step 1
If you’re in function ‘Manage Verification Failures’�
- select ‘Navigate� on the toolbar
- select ‘Amend Application CoC� from the options available. You’ll be taken to the ‘Applicant Details - Applicant 1� screen
- go to Step 3.
If you aren’t in function ‘Manage Verification Failures�, go to Step 2.
Step 2
On the ‘Function Menu�
- select ‘Application� on the toolbar
- select ‘Change of Circumstance� from the options available. You’ll be taken to the ‘Key Entry Data - Applicant� screen
- enter the customer’s NINO
- select the ‘All� checkbox
- select ‘OK�.
If you’re taken to the ‘Select Application� screen
- select the relevant claim
- select ‘OK�. You will be taken to the ‘Applicant Details - Applicant 1� screen
- go to Step 3.
If you’re taken straight to the ‘Applicant Details - Applicant 1� screen, go to Step 3.
Step 3
Note: If the ‘Signals� screen displays, select ‘Cancel�.
On the ‘Applicant Details - Applicant 1� screen
- select ‘Inc1� or ‘Inc2� as appropriate on the toolbar. You will be taken to the ‘Income - Applicant 1 - Sterling� or ‘Income - Applicant 2 - Sterling� screen
- select ‘History� on the toolbar
- select ‘IS�, ‘JSA� or ‘MIG� as appropriate from the options available. You will be taken to the ‘History� screen. If they are unavailable, it indicates there is no history for this benefit
Note: Check JSA for JSA and ESA and check MIG for PC
- the ‘History� screen will show details of the benefit selected.
If you wish to check another benefitÂ
- select ‘Cancel�. You will be taken back to the ‘Income - Applicant 1 - Sterling� or ‘Income - Applicant 2 - Sterling� screen
- select ‘History� on the toolbar
- select the next benefit from the options available.
If you wish to view benefit history for the partner on a joint claimÂ
- select ‘Cancel�. You will be taken back to the ‘Income - Applicant 1 - Sterling� or ‘Income - Applicant 2 - Sterling� screen
- select ‘Inc1� or ‘Inc2� as appropriate on the toolbar. You will be taken to the ‘Income - Applicant 1 - Sterling� or ‘Income - Applicant 2 - Sterling� screen
- select ‘History� on the toolbar
- select ‘IS�, ‘JSA� or ‘MIG� as appropriate from the options available. You will be taken to the ‘History� screen. If they’re unavailable, it indicates there is no history for this benefit.
