Step 1

On the ‘Function Menu�

  • select ‘Applicationâ€� on the toolbar
  • select ‘Viewâ€� from the options available. You’ll be taken to the ‘Key Entry Data - Applicantâ€� screen
  • enter the customer’s NINO
  • select the ‘Allâ€� checkbox
  • select ‘OKâ€�.

If you’re taken to the ‘Select Individual� screen

  • select the relevant claim
  • select ‘OKâ€�. You’ll be taken to the ‘Application Summaryâ€� screen

Note: If you’re instead taken to the ‘Select Application� screen or the ‘Select Application Version� screen, follow the guidance below for those screens.

If you’re taken to the ‘Select Application� screen

  • select the relevant claim
  • select ‘OKâ€�. You’ll be taken to the ‘Application Summaryâ€� screen

Note: If you’re instead taken to the ‘Select Application Version� screen, follow the guidance below for that screen.

If you’re taken to the ‘Select Application Version� screen

  • select version 1 of the claim
  • select ‘OKâ€�. You’ll be taken to the ‘Application Summaryâ€� screen
  • go to Step 2.

If you’re taken straight to the ‘Application Summary� screen, go to Step 2.

Step 2

On the ‘Application Summary� screen

  • select ‘VHâ€� on the toolbar. You’ll be taken to the ‘View Application Historyâ€� screen
  • check the ‘Additional Detailsâ€� field.

If there is a ‘Yes� next to the ‘IS� or ‘JSA/ESA� fields for either customer

  • select ‘Historyâ€� on the toolbar
  • select either ‘ISâ€� or ‘JSA/ESAâ€� from the options available. You’ll be taken to the ‘Historyâ€� screen
  • the dates the customer was in receipt of IS or JSA / ESA are shown in the ‘Start Dateâ€�, ‘Include Fromâ€� or ‘End Dateâ€� fields.

If there is a ‘No� next to the ‘IS� or ‘JSA/ESA� fields for either customer, the customer wasn’t in receipt of IS or JSA / ESA.
