Changes to previous version - new guidance

Step 1

On the ‘Function Menu�

  • select ‘Applicationâ€� on the toolbar
  • select ‘Change of Circumstancesâ€� from the options available. You will be taken to the ‘Key Entry Dataâ€� screen
  • enter the customer’s NINO
  • select the relevant checkbox
  • select ‘OKâ€�. You will be taken to the ‘Applicant Detailsâ€� screen.

If you are taken to the ‘Select Household� screen

  • select the relevant claim
  • select ‘OKâ€�. You will be taken to the ‘Applicant Detailsâ€� screen
  • go to Step 2.

If you are taken to the ‘Select Application� screen

  • select the relevant claim
  • select ‘OKâ€�. You will be taken to the ‘Applicant Detailsâ€� screen
  • go to Step 2.

If you are taken straight to the ‘Applicant Details� screen, go to Step 2.

Step 2

On the ‘Applicant Details� screen

Note: If the ‘Signals� screen displays, select ‘OK�.

  • select ‘WK1â€� or ‘WK2â€� on the toolbar. You will be taken to the ‘Work Detailsâ€� screen.

If the customer is due the four-week run-on entitlement, go to Step 4.

If the customer isn’t due the four-week run-on entitlement, go to Step 3.

Step 3

On the ‘Work Details� screen, enter the actual date the job ended in the ‘Hours Worked End Date�.

If the customer is leaving an employed job

  • enter the actual date the job ended in the ‘Main Employment Detailsâ€� ‘End Dateâ€� field
  • remove the number of jobs
  • return to your previous guidance.

If the customer is leaving a self-employed job

  • enter the actual date the job ended in the ‘Self Employment Detailsâ€� ‘End Dateâ€� field
  • remove the number of jobs
  • return to your previous guidance.

Step 4

On the ‘Work Details� screen, enter the date the four-week run-on ends in the ‘Hours Worked End Date�.

If the customer is leaving an employed job

  • enter the date the four-week run-on ends in the ‘Main Employment Detailsâ€� ‘End Dateâ€� field
  • remove the number of jobs
  • return to your previous guidance.

If the customer is leaving a self-employed job

  • enter the date the four-week run-on ends in the ‘Self Employment Detailsâ€� ‘End Dateâ€� field
  • remove the number of jobs
  • return to your previous guidance.
