Step 1

To view the applicable Child Benefit rates on the 鈥楥BO Guidance鈥� page

  • on the 鈥楬MRC鈥� homepage
  • select 鈥楤鈥� on the 鈥楢-Z index鈥�
  • select 鈥楤enefits and Credits鈥� from the options available
  • select 鈥楥鈥� on the B&C 鈥楢-Z index鈥�
  • select 鈥楥hild Benefit Processing overall guidance鈥� from the options available
  • select 鈥楥hild Benefit Rates鈥� under 鈥楥鈥�
  • select 鈥榃eekly Rate Calculation Tables鈥�
  • use the table to calculate the full weekly rate payable corresponding to the relevant period and the number of eligible children and/or young persons shown on the child benefit account
  • make a note of the full weekly rate payable on a form TC648.
