TCM1000284 - How to view Household Account to establish if a manual payment has been issued

Note: Cash cheques may have been used as a payment method prior to April 2017, however since April 2017 customers will need to be paid directly into a bank or building society account. Customers will be required to supply us with account details to enable payments to be made.

Step 1

On the ‘Function� menu

  • select ‘Viewâ€� from the options available
  • select ‘Household Accountâ€�. You will be taken to the key entry data screen
  • enter the customer’s NINO
  • select ‘Allâ€�
  • select ‘Postingsâ€�
  • select ‘OKâ€�.

If you are taken to the ‘Select Award� screen

  • select the relevant award
  • go to Step 2Ìý

If you are taken to the ‘View Award Summary� screen

Step 2

  • select the award end date for 05-04-2004, to review the year 2003-2004
  • select ‘OKâ€�. You will be taken to the ‘View Award Period Postingsâ€� screen
  • check for one of the following posting types
    • ‘MGPCâ€� for manualÌýpayment for CTC
    • ‘MGPWâ€� for manualÌýpayment for WTC
    • ‘MGPMâ€� for multiple payments
  • go to Step 3Ìý

Step 3

If a manualÌýpayment has been made

  • check if an amendment has been made
    Note: amendments can be identified by the following ‘Posting Types�
    • ‘AMDCâ€� for an amendment CTC award
    • ‘AMDWâ€� for an amended WTC award
  • take no further action.

If a manualÌýpayment hasn’t been made

  • select ‘Cancelâ€�
  • repeat the process for each tax year in the ‘View Award Summaryâ€� screen
  • take no further action.
