TCM1000280 - How to correct the JSA (IB) or ESA (IR) history on a post award claim

Changes to previous version - new guidance

Step 1

Note: If a customer starts work before a future effective date (FED) the JSA (IB) or ESA (IR) history will need to be corrected.

On the ‘Function Menu�

  • select ‘Applicationâ€� on the toolbar
  • select ‘Correctionâ€� from the options available. You will be taken to the ‘Key Entry Data - Applicantâ€� screen
  • enter the customers NINO
  • select the ‘Allâ€� checkbox
  • select ‘OKâ€�.

If you are taken to the ‘Select Application Version� screen

  • select the relevant claim
  • select ‘OKâ€�. You will be taken to the ‘Applicant Detailsâ€� screen
  • go to Step 2.

If you are taken straight to the ‘Applicant Details� screen, go to Step 2.

Step 2

On the ‘Applicant Details� screen

  • select ‘Inc1â€� on the toolbar. You will be taken to the ‘Income Detailsâ€� screen
  • select ‘Historyâ€� on the toolbar
  • select ‘ISâ€� or ‘JSAâ€�, as appropriate from the options available
  • select ‘Historyâ€�. The ‘Historyâ€� screen will display
  • select ‘Deleteâ€�
  • when a warning message displays, select ‘Yesâ€�
  • select ‘OKâ€�. You have corrected the JSA (IB) or ESA (IR) history on the post award claim.
