Changes to previous version - amended guidance. Amendments at step 2.

Step 1

On the ‘Function Menu�

  • select ‘Applicationâ€� on the toolbar
  • select ‘Correctionâ€� from the options available. You will be taken to the ‘Key Entry Data - Applicantâ€� screen
  • enter the customer’s NINO
  • select the ‘Allâ€� checkbox
  • select ‘OKâ€�.

If you are taken to the ‘Select Application� screen

  • select the relevant claim
  • select ‘OKâ€�. You will be taken to the ‘Application Detailsâ€� screen
  • go to Step 2.

If you are taken to the ‘Select Application Version� screen

  • select the latest claim version
  • select ‘OKâ€�. You will be taken to the ‘Applicant Detailsâ€� screen
  • go to Step 2.

If you are taken straight to the ‘Applicant Details� screen

Step 2

On the ‘Applicant Details� screen

  • select ‘Householdâ€� on the toolbar, a signals box will appear
  • select ‘Detailsâ€�
  • enter the ‘Household Endâ€� date in the ‘Household Endâ€� field
  • select â€� Household Breakdownâ€� from the ‘Household End Reasonâ€� drop down menu

Note: if you are entering a Household end date in PY you will need the ‘S18 Maintainer� role

  • select ‘OKâ€�
  • select ‘OKâ€�. You will be taken to the ‘Amend Finishâ€� screen
  • on the ‘Amend Finishâ€� screen enter the

    • date the notification of the change was received
    • source of the change
    • reason for the change
    • select ‘OKâ€�. The computer will now automatically accept the change and will apply the change at the effective date

Note: The changes you have made in this function will not be applied until you complete the ‘Amend Finish� screen and select ‘OK�.
