TCM1000199 - How to check if payments are being recovered

Step 1

On the ‘Function Menu�

  • select ‘Householdâ€� on the toolbar
  • select ‘View Overpaymentâ€� from the options available. You will be taken to the ‘Key Entry Data - Applicantâ€� screen
  • enter the customer’s NINO
  • select the ‘Latestâ€� checkbox
  • select ‘OKâ€�. You will be taken to the ‘View Overpaymentâ€� screen
  • check the following in the ‘Overpayment Summaryâ€� box

    • where ‘Suspendedâ€� is shown in the ‘Statusâ€� field, there is an outstanding overpayment but it is not currently being recovered
    • where ‘In Yearâ€�, ‘Cross Yearâ€� or ‘Directâ€� is shown in the ‘Recovery Methodâ€� field, payments are being recovered

Note: the cross year recovery may be as a result of Cross Award Recovery.
