Changes to previous version - amended guidance
Step 1
On the ‘Function Menu�
- select ‘Renewal� on the toolbar
- select ‘View S17 Details� from the options available. You will be taken to the ‘Key Entry Data� screen
- enter the customer’s NINO
- select the relevant checkbox
- select ‘OK�.
If you are taken to the ‘Select Household� screen
- select the relevant household
- select ‘OK�. You will be taken to the ‘View S17 - Current Position� screen
- go to Step 2.
If you are taken to the ‘Select S17 Period� screen
- select the relevant award
- select ‘OK�. You will be taken to the ‘View S17 - Current Position� screen
- go to Step 2.
If you are taken straight to the ‘View S17 - Current Position� screen, go to Step 2.
Step 2
If the ‘View S17 - Current Signals� screen displays, go to Step 3.
If you are taken straight to the ‘View S17 - Current Position� screen, there are no signals set.
Step 3
On the ‘View S17 - Current Signals� screen, the signals which have been set will have their checkboxes selected.
If you need to see why the ‘Terminated� checkbox has been selected, go to Step 4.
If you do not need to see why the ‘Terminated� checkbox has been selected, return to the guidance you were previously following.
Step 4
On the ‘View S17 -Current Signals� screen
- select ‘Cancel�. You will be taken back to the ‘View S17 - Current Position� screen

check the ‘Status� field
- ‘Compliance Terminated� will be shown in the ‘Status� field if the case has been compliance terminated
- ‘Terminated At 1SD� will be shown in the ‘Status� field if the case has been renewals terminated.
