Changes to previous version - new guidance

Step 1

On the ‘Function Menu�

  • select ‘Applicationâ€� on the toolbar
  • select ‘Viewâ€� from the options available. You will be taken to the ‘Key Entry Data - Applicantâ€� screen
  • enter the customer’s NINO
  • select the relevant checkbox
  • select ‘OKâ€�.

If you are taken to the ‘Select Individual� screen

  • select the relevant claim
  • select ‘OKâ€�. You will be taken to the ‘Application Summaryâ€� screen

Note: If you are instead taken to the ‘Select Application� screen or the ‘Select Application Version� screen, follow the guidance below for those screens.

If you are taken to the ‘Select Application� screen

  • select the relevant claim
  • select ‘OKâ€�. You will be taken to the ‘Application Summaryâ€� screen

Note: If you are instead taken to the ‘Select Application Version� screen, follow the guidance below for that screen.

If you are taken to the ‘Select Application Version� screen

  • select the relevant version of the claim
  • select ‘OKâ€�. You will be taken to the ‘Application Summaryâ€� screen
  • go to Step 2.

If you are taken straight to the ‘Application Summary� screen, go to Step 2.

Step 2

On the ‘Application Summary� screen

  • select ‘VHâ€� on the toolbar. You will be taken to the ‘View Application Historyâ€� screen
  • select ‘Châ€� on the toolbar
  • select the relevant child
  • ‘Date of Deathâ€� will be shown in the ‘Child Detailsâ€� box if this is a child deceased claim.
